Where are the voice recorder files in Android?

This phone has an already pre-installed voice recorder app so I never bothered to go find myself a new one. Recorded files by this app are saved, depending on the storage selected, in the paths below (don't know if it applies to other android phones of different brands):

/storage/external_SD/VoiceRecorder/my_sounds/filename

Or

/storage/emulated/0/VoiceRecorder/my_sounds/filename

However, these are just the paths to finding them but not the steps.

If you have got the pre-installed file manager, follow the steps below:

Tap on File Manager to open it,
You can tap on the three horizontal bars topping each other or with your thumb to the far left of the screen, swipe to your right. This will reveal the category of storage types you're having and those of all the files (but grouped)
You then tap on the storage you set as default for saving your recorded audio files.
Then once it expands, showing all the sub folders, scroll down and tap on VoiceRecorder
Then you tap on my_sounds (which would be the only folder)




This is just for the pre-installed app. If you are talking about finding the recorded files by a manually or by choice installed recorder app, then be sure to:

Tap on the external storage. Then on the Android folder after it has opened.

Tap on the data folder next and scroll to look for the com.appname.whatever follows

Another way to find the folder is by using the file manager or explorer to search for the file. Tap and hold for a pop up menu to appear. Scroll for details or properties and tap on it. This will give you all the details including the file path you can follow to get to all your files that are in the same folder as the one searched for.
